This is what every sheet of paper you use should look like. This is an organised way of ensuring all your answer sheets are well referenced and easy to navigate. Every mindful edit is one less step for the teacher evaluating the examination.

ON TOP:
These are things that can be done prior to writing the exam to save time.
Signature: Use a simple first-name signature to make every answer sheet easily identifiable.
Roll Number: This is the official exam roll number given to you. In case a sheet gets misplaced due to a technical glitch, this roll number can be used as a reference to identify your answer sheets.
ON THE BOTTOM:
Here you can provide information to help the examiner navigate better.
Question Number: Write the question number on the bottom left for examiner’s reference. Since there will be 6 questions in the question paper out of which only 4 have to be attempted, it becomes really important to ensure the question number is correctly identified and stated. For example, if you’re planning to skip Question number 1 and Question number 4, your answer sheet should not have any “Answer number 1” or “Answer number 4”. Even if the first question you’re attempting is Question number 2, the answer sheet should read “Answer number 2” which is directly referenced to the 2nd question.
Sheet Number: If you’re writing 8 sides (=4 pages) for an answer, make sure you write the sheet number on each side. The sheet number would be 1/8, 2/8, 3/8, 4/8…so on. This is important because it not only helps the examiner with the order of sheets for a particular answer, it also gives them an idea of how many sides you’ve written. This reduces the chances of an answer sheet getting skipped even if there’s a glitch in the system
